Ahhh, baseball season is here! The ground didn't quite freeze ten feet this winter, but it was a hard one. So spring is here, everyone (as of this post) has the chance at a ring and a summer of enjoyment.

Well I hope you enjoyed that, b/c The New York Yankees will be earning championship #28 this year. Posada's last year:-( I think Jeter is going to have a monster year to answer last year's performance.
I admit an aroma of old cheese beginning to waft through the organization. Is it 1963?
So enjoy as much as you can, and suffer through FOX's coverage in October to see #28 (7 in my lifetime).

Love your optimism Micah!
Hope it helps to carry you through what will be a heart breaking season in which the Yanks don't even make the post season, let alone win the whole shootin match.
I will say that , while I do not like the Yanks at all, Posada and Jeter are 2 guys on that team that I have always respected and liked the way they play the game!!
Unfortunately for them, they will not get enough help from their pitching to get them another ring this year. Sabathia and Rivera, with mediocrity in between, won't be enough to get it done in that division this year. Sorry!!

Sorry man! Didn't mean to kill your buzz! especially on a Friday.

And honestly, I do admire your optimism. It is indeed something we all can have this time of year, regarding baseball or not!

Have a good weekend!!

I am not a fan of baseball, I am a Cubs fan!

May they finally do it this year, or next, or then maybe next year!

I am a Phils fan first and foremost, but I am in reality a huge baseball fan. I can watch pretty much any game. When my kids were younger, the playground I would take them to in the evenings was our destination specifically because there were little league games going on that I could watch while they ran around with their friends. Didn't matter that I knew none of the kids playing, I just enjoyed watching the games.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the sport in general.

But come on man, 66 years of drought and 103 since the last win?! Enough already, "skin the goat" already!!!!

Sorry Micah, I was at game 3 of the 2003 series cheering on the Marlins to beat the Yanks. You just have to understand, the Marlins beat the Cubs for the pennant and since Florida is home now...you get it.
